Call for SMEs: Workshop for start-up SMEs seeking to do business in Health 

  • When: Wednesday 25th March, 13:30 - 17:00 (no fee)
  • Where: Ramada Hotel, Shaw’s Bridge – Belfast, N. Ireland

Organised by the Northern Ireland Connected Health Ecosystem and EU GET project, this workshop is for you if you are a start-up SME interested in:

  • Accessing support - engaging with key organisations that can support and inform on the challenges of doing business in Health (Health & Social Care, Health Trusts, Invest NI, VCs and Funders, Large industry players, Local councils development agencies)
  • Commercial opportunities – gain insights into upcoming opportunities in health in NI
  • Showcasing – presenting your ehealth innovation and business plan to an expert panel
  • Feedback – receiving constructive feedback on your solution, business plan & commercialisation strategy


Note that there is no fee to attend but SME places will be limited. Travel and accommodation costs are not covered. The closing date for applications is Friday 6th March. Successful SMEs will be contacted by Wednesday 11th March.

SME presenters will have an opportunity to give a 5-minute presentation on their ehealth solution, business plan and commercialization strategy to an audience of HSC organisations, Invest NI, VCs and Funders, large industry and local councils. SMEs will receive feedback and have an opportunity to network with an expert panel.  

Support for SMEs with preparing their presentations will be available and details will be shared with SMEs soon.
