TICBioMed coordinates the eHealth Hub European project to support leading Digital Health Companies access and level off their business in the European Market, under the H2020 Program Framework. The cluster strives to accelerate the growth of eHealth entrepreneurs, by reinforcing their business model and connecting customers and providers.
The main purpose of this Project is to to create a grid of partnerships with healthcare organisations, investors, potential customers and stakeholders for the promotion of market opportunities in the Healthcare ecosystem and access to private funding. At the end of the project there will be a sustainable EU-wide network of contacts to support business models and of legal and regulatory service-providers to back up companies in their internationalization process.
The eHealth Hub project hat a Budget allocation of 3 million euros and a duration of 3 years, during which a European partnership, coordinated by TICBioMed, will set up, monitor and deploy a collection of services to boost innovation among eHealth companies, TICBioMed´ Managing Director Jorge González explains the significance of this project “as a qualitative opportunity to push the innovation and establish the regional SMEs as a sustainable referent in DigitalHealth in the EU.”
Among the activities conceived to engage companies and attract investment towards SMEs, there is online personalized coaching on business Model clinic, pitch competitions, workshops and networking and Matchmaking events with potential customers, healthcare organizations, major networks investors and other stakeholders. An online Investment platform for visibility and a sustainable portfolio of legal and regulatory service providers, will be created to round out a feasible outcome for this project.
The project starts its rolling up with two activities:
- A Focus Group to discuss over the challenges of nowadays digital Health, will gather together under the umbrella of the Digital Venture Forum, taking place in Valencia on October 25th.
- On November 22nd, a total of 14 companies will be submitting their digital Health solutions before a panel of Experts at the eHealth Showcase, during the World of Health IT Congress in Barcelona.
